We teamed up with both Omexom Ireland and Solar montage group where we carried out a phased plan of works from start to finish.

Previously as an existing golf course this site required extra works to prepare it for the solar grid installation.

With a combined capacity of 28MW which will produce enough solar energy to power 5,400 homes each year via the national grid as part of the Government’s Renewable Electricity Support Scheme (RESS 2).

Keightley Excavations were responsible for carrying out the following works.

•Compound construction.
•Drainage installation.
•Cable pulling and installation.
•Access road construction.
•Re-topsoiling & grass seeding.
